Adam, a connector and multi-dimensional social entrepreneur, is a transformational leader with broad experience in the areas of fundraising, public-private partnerships and real estate development.
He brings 23 years of cross-cultural experience with significant credibility in “real-world” expertise with profitable projects involving multiple partnerships among corporations, government, faith-based entities and community groups. His completed project track record demonstrates a proven ability to work in unison with staff, volunteers, and board of directors. Skillful in interacting with stakeholders, community groups and government officials at varying levels, he is recognized for his ability to gain “boardroom-to-barbershop” consensus.
To date, his impact in the social enterprise arena spans multiple industries and includes public infrastructure projects totaling more than $500 million dollars, over 200k sq. ft. of office/retail, and housing related projects for nearly 1,000 families. Adam also served as a Co-founder of the Central Ohio United Way Key Club. Since its inception contributing nearly $20 Million in support of various health and human service programs.
Adam’s vast network of contacts and results oriented approach to profitably and the ability to orchestrate seemingly unrelated parts, positions him as a sought after “go-to” leader for both public and private initiatives.
Most recently, Adam’s leadership experience was tapped to serve as the Public Lighting Authority’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the City of Detroit Public Lighting Modernization Plan – a rebound from 40% of streetlights broken to new 65,000 energy-efficient LED lights. Over the past decade he has established a unique career path and serves as a trusted advisor to a wide range of business, religious, political and civic leaders using a performance based model of aligned interest through: The Art of Access…. Adam has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Banking & Finance from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. He is also a graduate of the Summer Leadership Institute at Harvard University Divinity School’s Center for Church-based Community and Economic Development Study. Adam and his wife Vikki are life-long residents of Ohio.
