For Impact

Jeff Strine

Senior Partner & Director, Church and Ministry Initiatives

Jeff oversees the Church and Ministry Initiatives division of For Impact, a vital and important focus since the inception of the company almost 40 years ago. He has over 20 years of experience designing and leading 60+ major funding campaigns, resulting in over $300 million for Christ-centered organizations including foundations, churches, secondary schools, universities, youth evangelization ministries, and religious congregations across the United States, Canada and beyond.

Jeff is one of For Impact’s original thought-leaders on the spirituality of fundraising. This perspective guides his training work with church and ministry teams and his direct fundraising efforts with foundations, family offices and individuals. Jeff views his work as a ministry of the Church, combining faith with practical business experience. He has coached many successful teams throughout his professional career, helping them tell the right story – to the right people – to achieve greater impact (It’s never about ‘just raising more money’).

Jeff earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration/Finance at Ohio State University with a minor in International Studies and continued post graduate studies at Capital University and the College for Financial Planning. After 16 years in the banking industry where he managed front-line business units, he left KeyCorp in 1997 as Senior Vice President responsible for Private Banking & Trust in the Midwest to begin his second career with Tom Suddes.

Jeff and Lisa, his wife of 37 years, live in Dublin, Ohio. They are the proud parents of five grown children, two grandchildren, and two American bulldogs. An active leader in his church community, a commercial hot air balloonist, and amateur backpacker; he can often be found enjoying the outdoors with his family and friends.
