Areas we're impacting

Pressing Issues

For Impact is a force for good, applying our experience to bring clear strategy and funding resources to the most pressing issues of our time, such as climate change mitigation, economic justice, food security, and much more.

Social Innovation

Our roots were forged in economic development and Catholic education. Today, we apply our human-centered-design approach to new frontiers of social innovation from aquaponics to artificial intelligence.

Entrepreneurial Results

Helping to unlock funding is our contribution to impact. However, to do that effectively, we usually have to bring entrepreneurial thinking to get clear on strategy, work through constraints, and build systems for desired change.

Celebrating Client Impact

Intellectual & Developmental Disability Support

Over seven million Americans (up to three percent of the general US population) live with an intellectual and developmental disability. The LOGAN Center in South Bend, Indiana supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities for almost 70 years so they, and their families, may achieve their desired quality of life. Approximately 1500 each year benefit from exceptional care and innovative programs to help increase the quality of life for those affected and their families.

International Development

In the world’s toughest places, Engineers Without Borders USA is partnering with communities to tackle the challenges that keep the world’s poorest people from living healthy, productive lives. Through volunteerism of 13,800 skilled volunteer engineers, communities are supported in finding appropriate solutions for their infrastructure needs. Footbridges to provide pathways to opportunities, solar panels that bring light where it is dark, and wells that can spring from the ground are all projects that build the foundation for a community to thrive for years to come.

Improving Food Security

Africa will account for 50 percent of the world’s population growth (adding one billion people) over the next three decades. Currently, one in four lack adequate food for a healthy, active life. Food solutions are critical to this population. Partners in Food Solutions is helping to cultivate a sustainable African food industry through expansion and increased competitiveness of the food processing sector. By connecting corporate volunteers from world-class food companies with promising entrepreneurs in ten African countries, world-class expertise is shared to enhance everything from facility design to product development in order to strengthen food security, improve nutrition, and increase economic development.

With the training and guidance we receive from For Impact, our team steps into every visit with a donor or prospective donor with an elevated approach to planning, strategy and ultimately – the ask.
