Coach
Caitlin is a transformational fundraising and business development executive with over 16 years of experience leading high-performing teams and delivering sustained, multi-million-dollar revenue growth for complex, global nonprofits. Her expertise lies in developing and deploying campaigns to create strategic philanthropic, institutional, and corporate partnerships to alleviate global poverty through localized systems change investments. Her work has taken her to over 20 countries across Latin America, Africa, Europe and Asia.
Most recently, Caitlin was the Vice President of Fund Development for iDE, where she led a global team to close the organization’s former strategic plan and launch its new, 10-year strategy focused on empowering women entrepreneurs. Caitlin established and expanded key initiatives such as major gifts, a corporate partnerships program, and a legacy society which diversified iDE’s resources and grew annual revenue to over $50M. Prior to iDE, Caitlin served as Director of Principal Gifts for Water For People with a 10-year tenure in transforming their development effort and managing exponential growth to secure over $250M in this time.
While Caitlin’s career started in marketing, working for a mid-sized advertising agency, she found that the nonprofit sector provided a pathway towards lasting impact and generational change. Committed to helping transform the lives of the most marginalized, Caitlin advocates for trust-based philanthropy to create change for entire ecosystems.
Caitlin holds a bachelor of arts degree with honors from the University of Vanderbilt and enjoys spending time in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado with her husband, two young kids, and the family’s husky mix.
