Emily Elder

Partner

A Colorado native, Emily studied Neuroscience and Psychoanalysis at Colorado College before moving to Denver to pursue mental health advocacy at Mental Health Colorado. She came to For Impact in 2018 after her experience in nonprofit work led her to realize the incredible impact of funding a vision. Emily’s passion is to translate an understanding of the brain into a “sales” model for fundraising, effectively identifying and engaging prospective funders for greater impact. She has helped organizations raise millions of dollars.

Over the last few years, Emily has worked with organizations with missions across the board, including those addressing climate change, preventing human trafficking, and ending poverty. She has a track record of success coaching campaigns for small- to moderate-sized community-centered nonprofits in Colorado and around the world.
