For Impact

Heather Riesenberg

Associate Coach

Heather joined For Impact as an Associate Coach in 2023. She graduated from Clark University in 2020 with her Bachelors in Philosophy and her Masters in Environmental Science & Policy. While in graduate school, she discovered her commitment to food justice work, specifically as it relates to youth and local food systems, so she focused her studies around these topics.

Heather’s mission to help build a more equitable and sustainable world inspired her curiosity into the non-profit work being done to achieve these goals. Before joining the team, she worked on the ground as both a youth mentor at an urban farm and as a kids’ cooking instructor. She witnessed firsthand the importance that fundraising holds in the success and longevity of justice work and loves that she can exponentially increase her own impact through her work with For Impact.

A new member of the Boulder, Colorado community, Heather can be found cooking, backpacking, reading, rock climbing, biking, and playing ultimate frisbee in her free time.
